I read an interesting article from today Sunday Star Education section-"Another face to cut-and-paste". I agree with the author point of view, that is, the educational system needs to acknowledge what the paper is today: a work product that tests very particular skills- the ability to synthesize and properly cite the work of others- and not student's knowledge, originality and overall ability.

Actually, I think that the most important thing that counts when you get into the society is to do something efficient . For example, will you spend so much time to do a portfolio when you can just get all the information you want from a journal or a reliable source when you are graduate and just want to update yourself?
