Remember when you have to beg your parents to buy a TV game that cost you at least RM 100 per game (in a tape) ? Now you can play it for free !
Contra
Eating junk food because of the toy inside ?
Investing money to modify dash car's engine, suspension etc...? Tamiya is very expensive, I bought Audley instead for RM 12.90, that's a lot to me during that time !
Miss watching cartoon and those fictional shows ?
Air Wolf - I remembered it is on show around 11-12 a.m., I am in Standard 1 /2 and I need to go to my grandma's house for lunch before going to school, and I always watch until last minute only rush to eat so just manage to eat very little because of bas sekolah is coming, this is one of my favourite drama that time...
Baja Hitam - Another favourite drama, miss the opening music and trademark punch and kick...
MacGyver - Can't really remember it until I listen to the music and brings back the old memory again...

Bukit Merah Laketown
Arrived there at 9.45 a.m. Sunday, it took about an hour drive from Penang island. This is the first time I went there, so I wake up early in the morning (7.30 a.m.) because I thought I will be spending a lot of time at the waterpark, but it turns out to be a disappointment.
Eco Park and Orang Utan Island is more interesting than the waterpark, at least I can see animal that can rarely be seen in the city. I wonder who would invest to build a resort or hotel there, the lake is dirty, environment is just so-so, seriously not attractive enough to convince tourist to stay overnight. Entrance fee is expensive, I bought the Waterpark Combo for RM 39 which include entry into 4 places - Waterpark, Eco Park, Orang Utan Island, Chairlift or Skycycle. My advice to all people who aren't bringing their kids over there to just purchase the Eco Combo for RM 22 which include entry into 3 places - Eco Park, Orang Utan Island, Chairlift or Skycycle.

Orang Utan Island
A male Orang Utan, their genetic composition has 98 % similarity to human, so it is not surprising to see his "pipe" at where it should be
A lot of African babies are starving to death, while Orang Utan's babies are taken care by nurses, live in air-cond room, wearing pampers, serve with milk, sleeping on bed and enjoying life
Eco Park
These 2 parrots are not visitors friendly according to the staff, don't go near them, they have 2 very sharp weapons, no joke...
There is a food court which serve reasonably priced food. Waterpark is boring, may be kids will find it fun but I won't come back again.
Leave at 2.45 p.m., on the way back to Penang explored Bukit Tambun for its famous seafood, disappointed again by Howe Kee Seafood Restaurant, so many flies surrounding us, the fish and prawn we ordered are nothing special, perhaps next time I will try the one near the jetty.

He decided not to buy any new cars for the state EXCO members as a cost cutting measure in view of current economy; whilst Terrenganu state controlled by BN decided to purchase 14 new Mercedes-Benz E200k to enjoy their life... That's one of the reason why people in Penang vote for Pakatan Rakyat !

B104 4th birthday
Happy birthday to batch of IMU BPharm B104, it had been 4 years since 21th July 2004 when we first got into IMU as pioneer Bee Farmers...
4 years ago we don't know what kind of challenge is ahead of us, but now we are glad that we will become a pharmacist serving the people soon. Currently there are still no news from the Ministry of Health and Pharmacy Board on when and where we will be going to start working, but I would like to make 3 wishes on this day:
1) I hope all of us can get the place we wanted to work at
2) I hope all of us will have a successful career and life in the future
3) I hope all pharmacist can get a pay rise ! :)

Penang Bon Odori 2008
Went there by 4 pm, but the event only began at 6pm. Thought I can see a lot pretty lady in Kimono but ends up majority are middle age, old women... young and pretty ones are hard to be seen, quite disappointed really.
Rehearsal
Various Japanese food stall. There are also stall selling local delights such as Laksa, Curry Mee, Penang road Cendol... but who want to eat those stuff while there are many interesting Japanese food with weird name that I never heard of to choose from? Cendol is selling at RM 3, while its normal price is RM 1.50 (100% inflation !)
You need to buy a voucher to purchase all the food and drinks
My DAP idol Chief Minister of Penang - YAB Lim Guan Eng. Beside him is the Japan Consulate
MP of Bukit Mertajam - Chong Eng was spotted, saw 2 famous DAP figures in real person finally
"Just Change for Malaysia !" In his speech he talk about Penang Government is implementing CAT (competency, accountability and transparency). It sounds funny, why don't they named it as ACT ?
LGE: It's so hard to be CM, you need to learn to dance beside having a good leadership skill.
Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) night view. So many people were buying food instead of watching performance.
Time for fireworks, should start at 10 p.m., but delayed for about 30 minutes. I thought Japanese were very strict about time keeping ?
Love shape fireworks
