Blog revive !

Goodbye to the research proposal, because of you I don't have time to blog for more than 3 weeks!

But now I am too free until don't know what to do. Went up to Genting in midnight 1am on 24th of July with a group of classmate, got the chance to get into the casino for the first time, but didn't gamble because I don't want to donate my money to uncle Lim. It will be something crazy I did during my final year university life, driving uphill (I am not the driver though) which looks like what you see in Initial D is dam scary leh... After that, ate a "big pao" which taste yucks and cost me RM5.30.

On the way back to KL the next morning, we almost got into accident (touchwood) at least twice. One is on the way downhill before the last police checkpoint with the signboard "Selekoh bahaya", better trust the signboard for those who think they are Schumacher or Raikkonen coz is really dangerous la, the car without ABS skidded for a for while because the road is slippery after the rain. Second incident was somewhere in KL, the driver with the name initial same as the car plate number fall asleep and drive up to the road sideway... that time i was asleep ... phew....

Yen Wei - a noob driver who think he is Kimi Raikkonen Junior knock his car onto the bump for 5-6 times on the way uphill to Genting. Hahaha, see some scratch mark on the bottom on his car, still say he is Kimi Raikonnen la, padan muka :) Somemore the plastic made bumper become loose on right side. He was expecting to pay RM 200++ for the repair charge.

But he got lucky, the foreman say "ni ti ngo tei mou kai ge, check ha je ma".

So this guy deserve some punishment, 25th of July is his birthday. In the midnight, YW who don't know how to swim was pushed into the pool of Vista C. I am the camera man. So not my fault. Omg, he really noob la, he don't know how to stand one, almost drowned in a pool which water level is lower than him. NOOB NOOB NOOB!!!

My "mou yeng sao", translate to english is no shadow hand

Happy birthday Harry Lim Potter, although your new movie is dam boring in the front part.

I survive !

My life is full of challenges- Firstly, I need to pass Semester 6 to enjoy my holiday fully.

Next, while enjoying the last few days of my precious holiday in Langkawi's Seven Wells, I need to sacrify my RM 1 paddle pop ice- cream in order to get away from a bunch of monkey when eating it half way.

This monkey really makes me angry and I wanted someone to compensate me an ice cream.

No one bother to answer my request, so The Star compensate me back with RM 50 with this photo.

Then, I need to drive back from Penang to K.L. even though I am having fever.

Now, I need to prepare oral presentation and draft a proposal for the coming Monday.

Wish me good luck ...

Urgent Message from TELEKOM

To those who have a telekom home phone, please read. Here is the original text received from Telekom:

If you get a call from someone identifying himself as a phone technician performing a test, and this person asks you to touch nine( 9), zero(0 ),hash sign (#) and then hang up... Please REFUSE TO DO SO! By pushing 90#, you are giving the individual, who called you, access to your telephone line and allowing them to place a long distance call with the charges appearing on your telephone bill. We were further informed that line scam has been originating from many of the local jails/prisons.

Please pass the word around.

(Got this from an email, is it true?)

"When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out." Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

The location is Foodloft at Gurney Plaza on 23-6-2007. I went there a few weeks before I got the email from nuffnang. Inside there, you can see they separate the kitchen according to the origin country of the food such as Portugese, Japanese, Malaysian etc...

According to them, kennysia's blog owner is also coming. I should have register earlier because they offer free food to the first 100 participants. Dam! By the way, if you are interested to go, you are free to go but you need to pay for your own bill...

Have you registered?

Although most of my friends are over 21 year-old, but I believe most of them have not yet register as a voter. It is very easy to become a voter, just go to any post office with the poster as shown above, registration process just require you to present your IC and a signature. It took less than 5 minutes. The next election is coming soon, please go to register as soon as possible and use your right to vote to choose the right government!
I would not vote for BN if :
1. I see SPM 10A1 student and STPM 4A student can not get scholarship or get into local univeristy to do their desired course.
2. Car price in Malaysia remains high. Honda City should not cost more than RM50k and Toyota Camry should be priced at RM 80k or equivalent to the price in USA or Australia.
3. No Chinese Primary school are build as promise.
4. Corruption continues causing various type of problems. e.g. First class building with leaking problem.
5. If I see more toll in Penang.
6. (to be added)

Best Penang Asam Laksa

RM 3 for a big bowl is only sufficient for your stomach to be 70% full.
Leng Chi Kang with so much ingredients for only RM 1.50.

The best Laksa award in my opinion no longer goes to the one in Air Itam, it is the Laksa stall which is selling nearby my house. Last time this stall was located nearby the Farlim Shell Petrol station. Now it has relocated to a shoplot with the name " Farlim Shell Petrol station Laksa".
Characteristics of a nice Laksa:
1. The bowl must be dirty
2. Soup of course must be perfect with Asam
3. The noodle must be soft
4. The Laksa smell remains in your mouth and stomach for 1 hours after you finish eating and the delicious taste remains in your memory forever...

Artists in Malaysia

TANK at Gurney Plaza 6-6-2007

Rynn Lim at Gurney Plaza 3-6-2007

Wu Chun and Tang Yu Ze at Times Square 26-5-2007

This holiday I have chance to see 4 of the artists. First is Wu Chun and Tang Yu Ze at Times Square. Actually I wanted to see Ella but she didn't come, that day was really in a mess, I was squeeze by those secondary school girls until I am unable to move a step.

After I went back to Penang here comes Rynn Lim who sing "Melodi" with Sheila Majid.

Three days later, TANK also came to Penang Gurney Plaza. I like 2 of his songs - Zhuan Shu Tian Shi (專屬天使) and Fei Ni Mo Shu (非你莫屬)

Nice dessert at Jalan Alor

Honey Melon flavour is the best!
Coconut flavor
Mango flavour

The stall's name is "Hong Kong Xi Mi Lu" in Mandarin. Each of the above cost RM 4 , with other flavour like Yam, Strawberry (RM5) yet to be tried. I think all of them will taste nice also.

Our Human Genome Project lecturer

PMR score 7 As

In year 1991 is form 2

This holiday really must enjoy "kau kau", go to gym to see leng lui, play dota with Penang keat ka at NetCity, eat all food that cannot be found in KL, watch all the movie that I don't have time to watch while studying at IMU and the list go on...

Since I am very free, I decide to arrange my bookshelves and come across some of the old school magazine of my secondary school. Then, I remember Yen Wei - the BBC of my class told me that Dr.Yiap if from Chung Ling High School and is now about 30s, so I guess I should be able to find him in the old school magazine. After spending about 15minutes, I found these 3 pictures.
